Edie and Allen Rau
Edie was born and raised in the Bond Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati. After leaving for school at the University of Pennsylvania and then working in Washington, DC, she returned to Cincinnati, where her parents were active members of the community. They gave generously of their financial resources and Edie was inspired by the commitment they made to organizations through donating their time. Edie met her husband, Allen, at a Jewish Federation event and they were soon married. They have taught their two boys the importance of giving and set an example for them that they hope their children will teach to their children.
