United Way of Greater Cincinnati
Jewish Cincinnatians used the United Jewish Charities model when they helped found the Community Chest (today’s United Way) in 1915. Members of Cincinnati’s Jewish community have served in leadership roles throughout the organization’s existence. United Way develops long-term solutions to societal challenges, helping families throughout the Greater Cincinnati region to thrive.
